ABOUT US
Learning Point is a nonprofit free-of-charge learning enhancement center founded by Dr. Holly White. Learning Point exists to provide private homeschool families with free educational services including tutoring, sports classes, field trips, and interest-based activities.
Dr. White, the founder and acting manager of Learning Point, has a B.A. in English from Arizona State University and a J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Holly began tutoring at Arizona State University's Learning Enhancement Center and has continued perfecting her pedagogical techniques ever since. She is TRio certified in mathematics and English and has been tutoring for 21 years. She has also taught 7th, 8th, 11th, and 12th grade English and written curriculum for 11th and 12th grade English. Along with helping other homeschooled children, Dr. White is currently homeschooling her own four children.
